More to the point, I produce watchlists for movies: everything from New’s Year Day “hangover movies” to Valentine’s Day date nights to sizzling summertime cinema to Halloween horror and more.
I’m also prone to writing about how particular films moved me, but know that I generally don’t write positive or negative reviews of film. This is not a position from which I intend to critically celebrate some films and cruelly eviscerate others. No one — including you — should care if I loved or loathed a movie. Instead, I want to write about movies in an expansive way, revealing what the movies mean to me (and perhaps you) — not as a means to kick movies when they’re already down.
In the meantime, I have such sights to show you, so shove your fist into a bucket of popcorn & chow down tonight, or join me in the mornings over a cup of coffee or tea.
